Stink, the Movie – Why Do Things Have to Smell?

Stink, the movie, is making its way around the small screen and coming to Concord, NH May 28th, at Red River Theatre. And it’s not about the intimate behaviors of skunks. (The first thing that comes to mind, right?) It’s about a guy on a mission – to find out what that “stink” is when you open a brand new package of, well, most clothing items.
So yes, the movie is about fragrance, perfumes, parfumes, and the many known and unknown chemicals that make up so many odoriferous items. It’s delightful to see a father’s passion come alive as he tries to track down and find the answers to why his daughter’s new pajamas…stink. And along the way, you will join his frustration about the laws that favor business and trade secrets, and yes, those politicians. Those politicians in the movie will wind you up. At least they did me.
You can check out where the upcoming showings are or you can rent it On Demand. It’s an excellent movie. Do try to see it. You’ll never look at the word “fragrance” the same way, promise.
